Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has said that the automaker will rethink how minivans are done in the future. Part of that strategy appears to include hybrid powertrains in the popular people movers. According to Marchionne, a hybrid model will be available on the company next-generation minivan, which is slated to debut in 2013. The new van will be built at the automaker’s Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada, where the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan are currently built.
